Welcome to my gallery of Paintings of Canadian Mountains. The small images on the left will take you to another page with information on the particular painting, including an image that shows it’s perspective on a standard height wall, additional zoom features, and any other useful information such as pricing and the size. Alternatively, the small caption text links to the Wikipedia page for that mountain if you want some more information on that mountain. To reserve a painting
If a painting is available you may reserve it for up to 10 days if you want to take your time to consider purchasing it. No deposit is required, you can send me an email and ask me to reserve it.
Paintings of Canadian Mountains viewing options
Online:
In addition you have the option of receiving a high resolution pdf or jpg file. Please email me and I will send you the file of the painting. This provides enough fine detail to see the canvas weave and the actual paint brush strokes. As an example, the image below shows the Mount Louis painting in detail.
In person:
Firstly, if you are in the Nelson, BC area and you want to view the painting before you purchase it, or if you wish to pick it up in person, you can drop by my house and studio. Alternatively, I can arrange for you to pick up a purchased painting in Canmore, AB. Please contact me if you want to set up a time.
Commissioned paintings
I will consider painting a specific landscape for you if I am familiar with the area and have material to support the work. This would include almost all of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, some of the interior ranges of British Columbia and a few areas in the Yukon and Alaska, Please ask! Pricing would depend on many factors so I would need some information from you to give you a quote. Use the link below to contact me. Please include the area and the mountain, in addition please include the aspect or vantage point the work should be done from, as well as your preferred size. (Minimum size I will paint is 30″ x 40″ inches.)
