This is a painting of Windtower, adjacent to Mount Lougheed in the Bow Valley near Canmore. One of the few paintings of mine that is not really abstract and uses some curved lines. A very complex formation with a brooding North East face, I needed some storm clouds to accentuate that feature. Unlike most of my painted subjects, which are more remote, you can observe this view from a picnic area on the 1A highway near Exshaw.
