I am an artist who specializes in Canadian mountain paintings. Most of my work is of mountains in the Canadian Rockies and other mountain ranges in British Columbia and the Yukon Territories. Please browse through the Canadian Mountain Paintings Gallery and check out my work. The current paintings are located on the gallery page, on the top menu, “Paintings of Canadian Mountains.” In addition I have links to portfolios of my photographic work located in the main menu. It includes many of my images of Canadian Mountains, not to mention some of my work from the Southwestern United States desert areas.
Can you buy a painting from me online?
- Right now there are paintings available for purchase, but please check back from time to time for more! Please get in touch if you would like to find out what is coming up, or to commission a piece.
Can I see the actual painting?
- In order to look at the actual painting before you purchase it or you wish to pick it up in person, that can be arranged if you are in the Nelson BC area. You can drop by my house and studio. Alternatively, it may be possible to pick up a painting in Canmore, AB but some notice is required. Please contact me if you want to set up a time.

How to buy a painting from me:
You may purchase any painting that is currently available and not reserved for another customer. The way to initiate the purchase is to contact me directly and firstly find out if the painting is still available and what options are the best for delivery.
The reason I do not offer direct “shopping cart” purchases:
- Often I am discussing a purchase with a customer who wishes to reserve a painting but have not committed to purchase it yet. For instance they are wanting to talk to over or do research on where they will hang it. I do not want anyone to feel they are in a rush. I will reserve a painting for up to 10 days with no deposit required.
- That is to say, there are many different delivery options, which I would need to discuss directly with the buyer. Sometimes, the painting may be dropped off, and sometimes, it may need to be shipped. Many of these paintings are large and require special shipping methods.
