Painting of Mount Yamnuska

A Painting of Mount Yamnuska, Canadian Rockies

36″ x 48″   91 cm x 121 cm    Acrylic on canvas  SOLD

A Painting of Mount Yamnuska showing the South face of the mountain. Located at the Eastern edge of the Rocky mountains, where the landscapes collide and the mountains meet the prairies. It is the first mountain on the north travelling west towards the mountains from Calgary along the Trans Canada highway. I have spent a lot of time climbing on this face!

The image above shows the painting of Mount Yamnuska on a standard-height, 8-foot wall to give you perspective on the size. If you click on the painting, it will open a link that will allow you to zoom in closer to the painting. My paintings are all acrylic on canvas with a 1.5 “gallery” profile frame. All the paintings come without decorative frames and can readily be displayed without a frame or by adding one to suit your taste.
